Being back at Hogwarts for the new school year was more than exilerating for the Ravenclaw. The new year meant new beginnings, opening new doors and closing old ones. It meant rekindling friendships and possibly old flames. However for Francesca Venuto, it meant the commencement of studying. It was something she frequently did since she truly wanted to be an accomplished witch. She wanted self gratification and therefore reacted on her passion. Discovering the fact that she was a witch was one of the best days of her life. No more lectures from her father about how her only purpose was to be married and have children; making more strong and healthy Italians. She loved her home and country, and loved her family even more. Making them proud was something she truly treasured. However she was a witch and had new priorities that she never thought would ever happen.

Glancing at the clock, Francesca was starting to get a bit irritated that her sister hadn't shown up yet. Storm promised that she would actually work hard and try to do better in classes. Of course Storm being Storm, she was most likely late and doing something more fun. Shaking her head, Francesca continued reading her Occlumency book and took her notes as usual. She thought about what would suit her study tactics for the year. Granted she was receiving mostly Os and at most an E in all of her classes. Being on top was her motive and she wanted to be a suitable teacher when she actually became a part of the Hogwarts staff. Then again, a lot of the current events were starting to make her think badly of her future. Of course not badly per say, but a bit worried. She tried to focus on her textbook and wrote quickly but neatly on her parchment. "Where is this girl!!" she said in her native language. "She really needs to start being serious."
